I was a stranger and you invited me in

Food Pantry
Currently, we have a small pantry located here in the fellowship hall. It is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 till noon. A person may come by and pick up items from the shelves to help supplement their meals through the month. Volunteers are always needed to help serve the people of Atascosa County. We also take donations of canned foods and cash donations. We partner with San Antonio Food Bank to help fill our shelves. We serve approximately 150 families a month. Would love for you to come by and help us to do the work God has called us to do.
Some items that can be donated:
Peanut butter Jelly
Cereal Canned fruit
Canned meat Spaghetti noodles
Ramen Pancake mix
Hotel soaps, lotions and and shampoos

Friday Backpack Bags
This is also a mission we do through the San Antonio Food Bank and the Pleasanton primary school. Every Friday we send 40 gallon Ziploc bags of food home with 40 children at the primary school. This helps children, that might not otherwise have food, eat a balanced meal and healthy snacks over the weekend.
